Abstract:
By questionnaire survey, the writers investigated the application of compressed straw fuel in Shuangmiao Village, Nan yang City in Henan Province. From the information obtained, effects of compressed straw fuel on farmers were analyzed. It was concluded that compressed straw fuel took the place of straw as well as coal. Switching to compressed straw fuel not only contributed to farmers' health and quality of life, but also benefited rural energy structure and the environment. We expect that the use of compressed straw fuel will play a more important role in the further improvement of life in China's rural areas.
