Abstract:
Among the many highlights of his distinguished career, one of the great scientific contributions of S. Fred Singer is his work with the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC). Formed by Dr. Singer in the early 2000s, this organization of scientists has emerged as one of the leading institutions challenging the contentions that are made in the periodic United Nations reports on climate change. This article briefly describes Dr. Singer's involvement with the NIPCC, from its creation to the publication of its most recent Climate Change Reconsidered reports
