Abstract:
Pre-treatment, a critical step for the utilization of cellulose, has close connection with processing cost and downstream technology. Corn straw, rich in cellulose, is a good source for bioethanol production. The writers have compared various pre-treatment methods of corn straw, in order to find out the most promising one for China’s bioethanol development.
