Abstract:
KSIM, a qualitative approach to cross impact simulation, is used to simulate a complex environmental system. Several policies concerned with issues such as health care, pollution control, pollution taxes, and the restricted use of technology, are tested with a real-world macromodel by generating the future scenarios. In this paper, the utility of KSIM for environmental impact analysis is exhibited.
