Abstract: This paper uses the direct-cost estimates for air pollution abatement developed for an earlier study (Miernyk and Sears, 1974) to derive technical coefficients for several simulated abatement activities in West Virginia. Output and relative price effects are calculated for particulate matter abatement and two sulfur dioxide abatement alternatives, using a static input-output model.
