Abstract:
It can be inconvenient to use published land-price data with urban lattice data in analyses of urban activities, because such land-price data are limited to assigned plots in an urban area. This paper is an attempt to provide a model for interpolating the limited data. The proposed model is based on the concept of transportation costs in a wider sense than simple monetary costs. To improve the acceptability of the model, urban activities in each place are also incorporated into the model.
