Abstract: The accessibility and quality of urban mobility networks (UMN) depend on a multitude of static and dynamic conditions for each individual. Promoting sustainable mobility, such as walking, requires a very specific assessment of UMN’s qualities given the specific needs of pedestrians. The objective of this research is to provide a new approach for the comprehensive, mode-specific understanding of a UMN as a base for good planning and decision making. With the Accessibility Score (AccessS), we propose an integrated, indicator-based, holistic geospatial framework for the quantified assessment of qualitative UMN attributes identified in an extensive literature review.
