Abstract:
In this paper, I examine the factors influencing the economic adaptation and occupational achievement of Turkish adolescents in the Federal Republic of Germany using the data obtained from an original survey of 430 Turkish adolescents and 380 parents (mostly fathers) carried out in twenty-two cities. The conclusion reached in this paper is that integration of these minority groups will not be achieved easily or quickly.
