Prefrontal Cortex Dysfunction and Income: A Study in Neuroeconomics

Abstract: In a sample of 235 community residents, income was found to be negatively associated with a measure of prefrontal cortex dysfunction (FrSBe), even after controls for age, sex and education. The results provide support for a neuroeconomic approach to the study of microeconomic variables.
