Following Your Virtual Trail: A Multistakeholder’s Approach to Privacy Protection

Abstract:
Privacy has been a constant concern to online users since the Internet arrived as a consumer medium. Different stakeholders have tried to mitigate the concern of Internet privacy. The purpose of this article is to examine the tension between different stakeholders with competing interests, and sometimes, competing interests even arise amongst the same stakeholders. A model for online privacy protection for Singapore is introduced.
