Community food growing and the role of women in the alternative economy in Tower Hamlets

Abstract: Women’s Environmental Network organises support and training for community gardens within East London. This practitioners’ perspective will consider some of the ways in which this helps to gain local resilience to economic and cultural pressures as well as creating greater access to green spaces.
