Abstract:
Papers presented at the Conference of the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) held in XLRI, Jamshedpur. These papers point out the extraordinary advances achieved by modern medicine and also the enormous costs involved. Looking at the Indian situation, they seek for means to satisfy the needs of a majority of the people, while providing reasonably good health care to all.
