Organizational Citizenship Behaviour as a Function of Organizational Commitment and Corporate Citizenship in Organizations

Abstract:
This article advocates a conceptual analysis to produce organizational citizenship behaviour to meet unprecedented contextual challenges due to highly competitive and volatile environment. It assumes that organizational excellence is the consequence of organizational citizenship behavior. The author has identified the corporate citizenship and organizational commitment as antecedent of organizational citizenship behaviour. Toward this end, a model is proposed to link antecedents and consequences of organizational citizenship behaviour.
