Abstract: Talent management is an issue which is engaging the attention of HR managers all across the globe. The amazing speed with which the corporate world is growing has put a great strain on managing human resources. This calls for innovative approaches in managing the work force. One of the means of achieving this is through Competency mapping. Identifying and nurturing competencies enables better performance management leading to successful organizations.
