Abstract:
Backing out of job offers is a big issue especially in country like India. Good amount of time and effort is wasted to find a new replacement and projects can and do get delayed and all these translates to revenue loss. This study was conducted at Wipro among 134 aborted candidates using structured questionnaire to find the reasons for offer rejection. Results indicate most of them feel that Wipro does not revert with convincing deal after they drop the offer. 61.4 per cent of the aborted candidates are not satisfied with the salary offered.
