Ramesh C Gaur and Sharma Bk

Paradigm, 2001, vol. 5, issue 1, 53-72

Abstract: In this paper efforts have been made to analyse the present status of librarians of management education institutions in terms of administrative and financial powers through a survey carried out in 18 management libraries of the National Capital Region (NCR). Issues such as academic status and pay parity have also been discussed. The role of AICTE in the development of libraries of management education institutions has been investigated. On the basis of results, the best possible organisational structure for a management library has been discussed. On the basis of the survey results, the academic status of the Deputy Librarians and Assistant Librarians has also been discussed.
