Abstract:
Regression testing is an expensive but necessary maintenance activity. Prioritization techniques are used during regression testing so as to minimize the cost incurred during maintenance. We propose new algorithm for prioritizing test cases. Variable are primary source of changes in the program and this algorithm catches these changes through the variables. We have demonstrated the algorithm using an example.
