Abstract:
The Omani statistics for craft industries by gender showed that women dominate some areas of crafts, with a higher number of women than men in some craft centers. In light of this fact, this article investigated ways to take advantage of women’s predominance in the craft industries and the consequences for the identity of Omani society. It will draw on existing social, anthropological, and field data to discuss the subject.
