Factors Affecting Religious Participation

Abstract: Duncan (1979) analyzed the effects of sex, marital status, and color on a response variable that he termed religious participation. This variable was a coded form of the categories of the two separate response variables: member of church and member of church-connected organization. The present article presents a reanalysis based on the original response variables.
