Abstract:
Economic multiplier studies are known to possess both conceptual and practical problems in their calculation. Nonetheless, the public sector continues to develop models because of a need to assess return on public sector expenditure. This report briefly outlines an attempt being made by Auckland City Council to develop a model that meets its needs.
