Abstract:
Leadership has been a perennial concern of people since the dawn of civilization. It has acquired greater salience today in the Indian context. This paper discusses five core characteristics of effective leadership-creating vision and purpose, managing self, evolving self, making contribution and striving for immorality. The article also highlights the methods to develop leadership at individual and organization level.
