Abstract:
eSupply chain management is vital for the development and growth of eBusiness operations and represents a key success factor for today's businesses and organizations. eSupply chain management helps making eBusiness more efficient and more effective using virtual organizations and integration. Its emergence was mainly due to the rapid widespread of eBusiness as a growing platform for business development in the global marketplace. eSupply chain management reflects the fact of converting all manual processes of a traditional supply chain to be operating and managed electronically; hence making it more efficient, more effective and more reliable. This paper describes the impact of eSupply chain management on the evolution of eBusiness in Egypt using a number of Internet start-ups and business ventures. Moreover, the paper demonstrates the potential impacts of a solid and dynamic eBusiness infrastructure on the development and growth of the business sector in Egypt.
