Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to survey the main contributions made on the subject Known as the transformation of values into prices of production. First, we summarize Marx's original proposition in "Capital" and how the apparent contradiction emerges between the value and price systems and Marx's own resolution of it. Next we present the several criticisms and alternative ways to transform "correctly" values into prices. Some considerations on the significance of this subject are made at the end of the paper.
