Abstract: This paper proposes a complex analysis of the evolution of the globalization concept, phasing of globalization, the pylons of globalization, and also the evolution of the direct foreign investments. The globalization problem it was, it is and it will be an interest subject for the entire society. Thereby, the end of the XX century and the beginning of the XXI century is defined with the acceleration of the globalization process, and the flows of direct foreign investments involved by the transnational corporations constitutes the main forms of manifestation of this complex phenomena.
