Abstract: This paper aims to present a new vision on national currencies, focusing on power reserve currencies belonging to the major economic powers, that play a critical role in the world economy and international economic relations. Moreover, it wants to be measured as the first milestone, starting the publication of an econometric model which quantitatively demonstrates the way in which their influence can generate benefits in terms of nation's wealth it produces.
