Abstract:
The wellness tourism is a branch of the tourism industry that is getting more and more developed. People’s demand for well-being directly affects the demand for wellness products and services. The concept for wellness is more and more frequently met worldwide. Still, this concept is differently understood even by people who work in this industry. The entire concept of wellness is discussed worldwide and people try to establish a definition upon it. One of the research methods used is the theoretical one: We analyzed the concept of wellness and synthesized the important aspects of the concept. The other research method used is a quality method, case study: We analyzed the 4 and 5 stars accommodation units in Romania and established the level of development of their wellness products and services.Journal: The USV Annals of Economics and Public Administration
