Abstract: Bucovina is the region with the most localities declared tourist resorts in the country. Suceava County ranks 4th or 5th as a tourist destination, according to official statistics, being one of the first 8 destinations where a regional destination management organization will be realized. There are 2 local destination management organizations: Seat Fortress and The Land of Dornelor. Bucovina has rural and agritourism, active and mountain tourism (mountain biking, hiking, skiing, equestrian tourism), cultural tourism, ecumenical (religious) tourism. There are a number of problems related to: insufficient leisure offer, insufficient tourist information centers, the lack of a unitary system of signaling touristic objectives, the lack of a unified promotion policy at the county level.
