The requirement for insurance protection of property interests of borrowers increases with the development of the creditmarket. The observed recovery in the credit market was reflected in the market of mortgage insurance. The article considers the keytrends, directions and actual problems of the development of the market of insurance of mortgaging property in the postcrisis economyof the Russian Federation.
