Abstract:

Questions of formation and development of civil society in Russia every year takes on particular relevance. Non-profit organizationsover the past few years become an influential factor in economic and social development. However, it should be noted that thepotential of the Russian non-profit sec tor is not disclosed. One of the key factors of slower growth and development of civil societyis the passivity and indifference of our citizens, as evidenced by the many case studies. Therefore, in our opinion, the main task ofauthorities on the development of civil society must be overcome existing stereotypes and historical development of civil initiativesby stimulating the activity of third sector organizations.
