Abstract: The article deals with the possible consequences of the financial crisis of XXI century for development of Russian economic relations with Latin American countries. The author examines some tendencies and problems of present commercial and investment cooperation between Russia and Latin America. Analyzing the influence of the financial crisis on Russia and Latin American region, the author considers the prospects of economic relationship between them.
