Abstract: In the article, strategic approaches to the problem of increasing of competitiveness of the Russian economy are highlighted. Its competitiveness rating is compared to the referring ratings of developed countries. Competitive advantages and disadvantages of Russia at the world markets are characterized, problems of domestic goods and services certification are analyzed. The author emphasizes the problem of raising of Russian economy competitiveness, considering certain industries.
