Abstract: The article deals with the peculiarities of a modern approach to modelling moonlighting behaviour. The main assumptions of the basic model are discussed. The two main cases of moonlighting are considered: the case of limitations of hours of work at the primary job and the case of heterogeneity of primary and secondary jobs. Importance of the assumption of sequential primary and secondary job taking is shown.
