Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of strategic principles, tasks and actual tendencies of Russian external energy policy. The special attention is given to the problems of increasing efficiency of energy cooperation with EC countries. The authors show that solutions of tasks for reconstruction and development of Russian energy system in the cooperation process on the basis of advanced technologies shall be the factor of growth both for the industries related with energy and the national economy in whole.
