Abstract: In the article, five main aporii of antique philosophy are examined: isotenia, regress to infinity, relativity of cognition with respect to the cognizing subject, arbitrariness of statements. It is demonstrated how aporii, while developing the economic thought, show the connection between economic categories and interests of participants of economic processes.
