Abstract: This article is devoted to the main principles of value modification in the post-industrial economy. Specific features of principal economic resources, knowledge and information, as well as their influence on the value formation in the «new economy» are analyzed. The author pays attention to the necessity of development of new methods for product value estimation taking into account a reducing share of material costs, increasing importance of consumers' appraisals and rent components.
