Abstract:
The article deals with, the theory of an «absolute money» worked out by Sergey F. Sharapov, a Russian scholar and a famous public figure. S. Sharapov is considered to be Slavophil. At least his theory of money is being run through by the Slavophil ideas. He says about two kinds of money. The first one, the gold, is involved in the western economy and model of life. The second paper money is an attribute of the Russian economy and social order. The value of paper money can be created only by morals peculiar to the Russian way of life. This type of money can circulate only within Russia. That is why this money was called by the author as an «absolute».
