Abstract: Practice of Ukraine's interaction with the IMF is considered in an article. Features of the functioning of the IMF in ensuring stability of the monetary system are devoted. Priority areas of activity inside the IMF at the present stage are indicated. Financial position of Ukraine as a member of the IMF is investigated.
