Abstract: Chinese premier Wen Jiabao announced in Warsaw on 26 April 2012 China''s intent to increase its Foreign Direct Investment to Central and Eastern Europe by US$ 10 Billion, earmarked for high technology, new technology, and green technology. This paper aims to evaluate this investment''s significance to China itself and Europe.
