Abstract: В статье дана оценка вклада ученых университета в устойчивое социально-экономическое развитие Республики Беларусь. Приведены цели и анализ результатов, достигнутых учеными университета, по основным видам научной, научно-технической и инновационной деятельности (выполнение заданий научных и научно-технических программ различных уровней, хозяйственных договоров; международное научно-техническое сотрудничество; апробация и внедрение результатов НИ(ОКТ)Р; издательская деятельность, участие в выставках и конференциях; патентно-лицензионная деятельность; подготовка кадров высшей квалификации) по итогам 2014 г. Отмечена работа университета в формировании отраслевого образовательно-научно-производственного пространства с заинтересованными организациями и ведомствами. Рассмотрены наиболее эффективные разработки и значимые достижения университета, подтвержден их высокий уровень. Перечислены основные задачи по дальнейшему развитию и повышению эффективности научной и инновационной деятельности университета на 2015 г., а также определены пути их решения. Обоснован вывод о значимости вклада ученых университета в устойчивое социально-экономическое развитие Республики Беларусь.In article the contribution of the University scientists in sustainable socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus is estimated. The authors summarize objectives and analyse the results achieved by the University scientists on the main types of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities (execution of commercial contracts and tasks of scientific and scientific-technical programs of various levels; international scientific and technical cooperation; testing and implementing results of scientific research work; publishing, participation in exhibitions and conferences; patent licensing activities; and training of highly qualified personnel) by the end of 2014. The University work in shaping the industry’s educational-research-production space with interested organizations and agencies is noted. The most effective inventions and significant achievements of the University with the confirmed high level are analyzed in the article. The authors point out the key challenges for the further development and increase of efficiency of scientific and innovative activity of the University for 2015, as well as the ways of their solution. Also the authors conclude the importance of the contribution of scientists in sustainable socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus.
