Abstract: The article substantiates the position, by which the causes of the crisis situation in Russia and the world can be only understood through the prism of the visionary approach. This position has been confirmed by the many-year search that resulted in development of the new cognition methodology, which made it possible to identify objective regularities in the human community development and to see the road for its further evolution.
