Abstract: В статье рассмотрены теоретические аспекты развития топливно-энергетического комплекса Северо-Западного федерального округа как составляющего устойчивого развития экономики России, обеспечивающего стабильный экономический рост страны на долгосрочную перспективу. Повышение энергообеспеченности национальной экономики планируется осуществить путем освоения Штокмановского месторождения природного газа.The article considers the theoretical aspects of development of fuel and energy complex of the North-Western Federal district as a component of sustainable development of Russia''s economy, providing stable economic growth in the long term. Improving the energy security of the national economy planned to be implemented through development of the Shtokman natural gas field.
