Abstract: В статье рассматриваются теоретические и практические вопросы формирования международного финансового центра (МФц)** в России. Раскрываются понятие и особенности функционирования МФц, проблемы, возникающие при его создании, и намечаются практические меры по их решению. утверждается, что основой процесса создания МФц должны быть модернизация и структурная диверсификация реального сектора экономики.The paper examines the theoretical and practical issues of building an international financial center (IFC) in Russia. the author focuses on the concept and some features of IFC operation, tries to outline problems that may arise when creating a center and proposes practical measures to solve them. the author argues that modernization and structural diversification of the real sector of the economy are the basic conditions for establishing such a center.
