Abstract: Рассмотрены количественные показатели и качественные характеристики страхового рынка России в сопоставлении с рынками ведущих стран мира и среднемировыми показателями. Показана необходимость перехода к интенсивному развитию страхования, обоснована необходимость повышения привлекательности страховых услуг.The paper examines quantitative and qualitative indicators of the Russian insurance market in comparison with characteristics of world leading insurance markets and the global average indicators. The Russian insurance market needs intensive development and in this connection the attractiveness of insurance services and products is an important factor to promote its development.
