Abstract: The motivation of the capital to the growth and development is considered in the article. Potentialities of different theoretical approaches to investigate motives of the business operators activities are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the alignment of internal motivation of business and external terms to its realization. Alterations of the institutional conditions are considered from the point of view of the influence to motivation to the growth and development of businesses.
