Abstract: The environmental functions of healthy soil an integral component of pesticide less agro-ecosystems are under consideration. The indicators for quantitatively assess the soil health state are proposed. They take into account: the content of harmful and phytotoxic substances, pathogens and pathogenic biological agents in the soil, the degree of its biogeochemical and self-cleaning soil functions. The principles and techniques are summarized to manage the soil health in situ by organic farming systems a special kind of farming, providing environmentally friendly products with soil dehumification prevention.
