Possibilities of application of social indicators for assess the potential of neo-industrial development

Abstract:
In the article a key factors of neo-industrial development paradigm that rejects the dominant position of service sector are considered. The author points to a fundamental change in the labor and employment in conditions neo-industrialization. Transition to neo-industrialism typical for advanced nations and regions, as an essential condition for a new stage of development is increasing of capital investments and the overall level of capital per worker. The author suggests using the overall level of capital per worker to evaluate the potential of neo-industrial development of Russian regions. Regression analysis confirmed the possibility of using average income per capita to determine the potential of neo-industrial development.
