Abstract: Article is devoted to questions of beef's production efficiency increase. Authors studied structure of production of meat in Russia and the Voronezh region, the factors affecting on its effectiveness are defined. Within the concrete agricultural enterprise labor input and economic efficiency of animals' growth during fattening was investigated. As a result the tendency of increase in prime cost and unprofitability was revealed.
