Abstract: We have generalized the theoretical approaches to define the essence of the concept of «budgetary potential of the region,» presented the author’s vision of its interpretation and substantiated its division into separate components. The methodical approach to determining the budget potential of the region has been offered. We have outlined the mechanisms and determined the directions of improving the efficiency of budget potential of the region.
