Abstract: The role of economic potential in the sustainable development of regional economy. The characteristic of the basic principles that contribute to solving these problems at different levels of economic development of Ukraine. A conceptual model of the region with the definition of major and minor connections between the various links in the economic system and individual economic subjects of management and senior management.
