Abstract: This paper investigates the features of approaches to understanding the concept of “regional industrial policy” by different researchers. The basic characteristics and principles of scientific research category. Based on the analysis formed its own approach to the definition of all the features and criteria for evaluation of the actual synthesis of theoretical research object.
